1. Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and the information you choose to share in your Mirror and profile. We also collect usage data such as circle activity, reflection interactions and feature preferences, to help the service work.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate MirrorFrame, show you aligned connections, deliver circle and event updates, process membership payments, and keep the community safe. We do not sell your personal information or use it to train third-party AI models.
3. Photos and the Mutual Reveal
Profile photos are stored securely and are not visible to others until both participants in a connection explicitly agree to a Mutual Reveal. You can pause or end a connection at any time.
4. Sharing with others
We share information only as needed to run the service: with our hosting and payment providers, and when required by law. We do not display your full name, email or photos publicly.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as you have a MirrorFrame account. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and Mirror content and anonymise activity data used for product insights. Some data may be kept longer where required by law or for safety investigations.
6. Your choices
You can edit your Mirror, manage your membership, pause or block connections, and delete your account from the account settings page. You may also contact us to access, correct or delete your personal information.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews to protect your data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong password and report suspicious activity.
8. Beta and international use
MirrorFrame is in beta in Oslo, Norway. Your data is hosted by our infrastructure partners in regions we select to provide a reliable service. If you have questions about data handling, email us at maydjine@proton.me.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as MirrorFrame grows. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice.
